Mr. University 16.03.14

This is the fullest set of branding I have provided for any organisation to date and so, one of my most challenging projects.

The original logo supplied at the very top was created by Shaz, Bodypower. My responsibility was to create the rest of the imagery which includes A3, 5 and 6 leaflets as well as the ticket and large images such as a pullup banner, PVC banner and flag for use in future years. My aim therefore was to take elements of Shaz' design and expand it across the imagery set. The font used was Helvetica Neue Black Extended and Helvetica Neue Black Extended Oblique. A light version was also used sparingly on the ticket.

My inspiration was again drawn from a retro/vintage source - this time from the simplicity of the Dr. No James Bond poster. This is evident in an earlier draft which dubs the competition 'Mr. Uni' and features on top of a bold yellow background. The request for more of a gradient look and the full title formed part of the final look which goes across all imagery.

This project will be updated with the flag and photographic examples of my work in print and in use at the event next month.
